Celebrating Excellence on the Road: TGL’s July 2026 Roadstar Champions
Recognising the people, discipline and commitment driving safer and more reliable road freight logistics across Nigeria.
Every successful delivery begins with a journey.
But behind every journey is more than a truck, a route and a destination. There is planning, discipline, patience and, most importantly, a professional committed to ensuring that cargo gets where it needs to be—safely and on time.
For Taxaide Global Logistics (TGL), these values are at the heart of its operations.
As a growing provider of road freight logistics and transportation services in Nigeria, TGL understands that reliable logistics depends on the people behind every trip. The Roadstar of the Month initiative was established to recognise drivers whose performance demonstrates the standards that TGL expects across its fleet—safety, consistency, professionalism, efficiency and customer commitment.
The July 2026 edition highlighted three outstanding performances, with Ismail Murtala, Kasim Paul and Adeoye Adeshola emerging as the top three Roadstars for the month.
Their stories offer more than a snapshot of monthly performance. They provide a glimpse into the discipline and resilience required to keep goods moving across Nigeria.
Leading the Pack: Ismail Murtala
With an average distance covered of 286.19 kilometres, Ismail Murtala emerged as the first-place Roadstar for July 2026.

The performance reflects the consistency required to operate effectively within a demanding logistics environment, where every trip comes with its own route, timing and operational requirements.
In long-haul transportation, performance is rarely about one exceptional journey. It is the result of consistently meeting expectations across multiple assignments while maintaining the standards required to protect both cargo and fleet assets.
Ismail’s July performance placed him at the top of the month’s Roadstar rankings and demonstrated the value of consistency in professional logistics operations.
Consistency on the Road: Kasim Paul
Kasim Paul secured second position, recording an average distance of 263.58 kilometres.

His July experience illustrates another important aspect of road freight logistics: the ability to remain adaptable when journeys do not go exactly according to plan.
During one of his long-haul assignments, the journey involved stops along the route, including a rest period in Akure before resuming the trip early the following morning. The journey continued through Abuja and towards Kaduna before reaching the customer’s location.
Upon arrival, an unexpected communication challenge emerged when the initial customer contact could not be reached.
Rather than allowing the situation to result in a prolonged delay, communication was escalated to the Trips Manager, who helped establish contact with the customer and provide the necessary information to complete the delivery.
The cargo was subsequently offloaded on the same day.
It is moments such as these that demonstrate why effective logistics goes beyond simply covering distance. Communication between drivers and operations teams, the ability to adapt to unexpected circumstances and a determination to complete each assignment responsibly are essential to maintaining reliable customer service.
For a logistics company in Nigeria, these seemingly small operational decisions can make a significant difference to the customer experience.
Going the Distance: Adeoye Adeshola
With an average distance of 262.51 kilometres, Adeoye Adeshola emerged in third position for July.

Beyond the monthly ranking, however, one of his July assignments stood out for the scale of the journey.
Adeoye completed a 3,515-kilometre journey from the Ososa TGL Yard to Mubi, Adamawa, transporting goods for TGL customer Okobiz.
The assignment demanded endurance and careful attention to safety throughout the journey. It was completed with 100% on-time delivery, zero accidents, zero incidents, zero safety violations and 100% Pre-Trip Inspection compliance, while fuel efficiency remained above the fleet target.
Reflecting on the Roadstar recognition, Adeoye described the achievement as a product of consistency and discipline rather than luck.
His approach to the journey centred on several fundamental principles: conducting thorough vehicle inspections before departure, practising defensive driving, maintaining appropriate following distances, avoiding distractions, managing fuel responsibly and maintaining communication with the operations team.
The result was a successful delivery and a vehicle returned in excellent condition.
His experience captures an important principle behind the Roadstar programme: excellence in logistics is not necessarily about who drives the farthest. It is about consistently doing the right things throughout every journey.
Safety at the Centre of Every Journey
The stories behind the July Roadstars reinforce an important element of TGL’s operating philosophy: fleet safety is non-negotiable.
For businesses moving valuable goods across Nigeria, transportation involves more than selecting a vehicle and assigning a route. It requires confidence that the people, processes and equipment responsible for the journey are being managed properly.
At TGL, safety begins before a truck leaves the yard.
Pre-trip inspections, responsible driving practices, route planning, appropriate rest periods, communication with operations teams and careful management of company assets all contribute to safer and more reliable logistics operations.
This approach is particularly important in long-haul road freight logistics, where drivers may spend extended periods on the road and encounter changing traffic, weather, road and operational conditions.
A strong safety culture protects more than cargo. It protects drivers, other road users, vehicles and ultimately the businesses that depend on timely deliveries.
Rewarding Hard Work, Raising the Standard
The Roadstar programme serves an important purpose beyond recognising individual performance.
It creates a culture where excellence is visible and hard work is valued.
By recognising outstanding drivers each month, TGL reinforces the behaviours that contribute to better logistics outcomes—safe driving, operational discipline, customer focus, efficiency and professionalism.
This commitment to recognition also reflects TGL’s broader approach to service delivery. Reliable logistics is built by people who understand that every assignment represents a responsibility to the customer.
When that responsibility is consistently fulfilled, it deserves to be recognised.
More Than Transportation: A Logistics Partner Businesses Can Trust
For businesses searching for transportation services in Nigeria, the choice of logistics partner can have a direct impact on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The right partner must be able to move goods efficiently while maintaining the discipline, visibility and safety required throughout the journey.
TGL’s Roadstar programme provides a glimpse into the standards behind its logistics operations.
From long-haul journeys across Nigeria to the everyday decisions that keep deliveries moving, the emphasis remains on safety, professionalism and dependable service.
Because logistics is not simply about getting from one location to another.
It is about ensuring that every journey contributes to a customer’s success.
Moving Forward, One Safe Journey at a Time
The July 2026 Roadstar rankings represent three different journeys, but they share a common thread: consistency.
Ismail Murtala’s leading performance, Kasim Paul’s ability to navigate unexpected challenges and Adeoye Adeshola’s disciplined execution of a 3,515-kilometre assignment each demonstrate the qualities required to deliver dependable logistics services.
Together, they reflect the people-centred culture behind TGL’s operations and the organisation’s continued commitment to recognising hard work.
As the Roadstar programme continues, the objective remains clear—to encourage a culture where safety comes first, excellence is recognised and every journey is treated as an opportunity to deliver better.
Because behind every successful delivery is a Roadstar making it happen.
And every safe journey helps keep Nigeria moving.
